NEW Lodge Couple Vacancy Madikwe ? ? Lodge Couple Lodge Manager + Lodge Anchor / Guest Liaison Luxury Safari Lodge (Madikwe) Live-in Couple Role | Combined Salary: R38,000 R45,000 DOE Kendrick Recruitment is seeking an experienced, committed Lodge Couple for a luxury safari lodge in the Madikwe Game Reserve. This is a live-in opportunity for a couple who work well as a team, are hands-on, and thrive in a remote bush environment while delivering consistently high standards and strong guest connection. Position 1: Lodge Manager ? Salary: R25,000 R30,000 DOE Key Responsibilities Take full responsibility for daily lodge operations and standards Lead and manage the lodge team with strong people leadership and accountability Be hands-on and highly capable with maintenance oversight and problem-solving Maintain high operational standards across departments (FOH, housekeeping, F&B, maintenance) Report directly to Operations Directors (based off-site) HR process knowledge advantageous, including basic staff administration, discipline, and compliance support Requirements Proven Lodge Manager experience in a lodge or high-end hospitality environment Strong leadership, communication, and operational discipline Practical maintenance ability and a hands-on approach Professional, reliable, and solutions driven Position 2: Lodge Anchor / Guest Liaison ? Salary: R13,000 R15,000 DOE ? This is not a management position Key Responsibilities Deliver exceptional guest relations and guest experience support Assist with admin and day-to-day lodge coordination Support staff welfare and morale, contributing to a positive lodge culture Be flexible and assist across departments when needed Act as a consistent, welcoming presence for both guests and staff Requirements Proven guest-facing experience in a lodge or hospitality environment Strong communication and people skills Organised, calm under pressure, and proactive Willing to assist operationally where needed Package Includes Live-in accommodation for a couple Meals provided Tips Full provident fund 12 bed nights annually To Apply Please submit: CVs for both candidates Contactable references Recent head and shoulders photographs ?
