Key Responsibilities Prepare underlying working papers for external audits Liaise directly with external auditors during audit processes Prepare annual, interim, and monthly financial statements and management accounts Manage financial statements audits and agreed audit engagements Conduct budget preparation and budget variance analysis Perform month-end and year-end close processes Organise, prepare, and review bookkeeping transactions Analyse and interpret accounting records in line with IFRS standards Gather, monitor, and report on financial data, including revenue, expenses, and liabilities Identify and report on accounting discrepancies Conduct financial risk analysis to support potential investments Analyse financial trends and performance indicators Support property development finance reporting and multi-entity structures Requirements Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 67 years experience in a financial accounting role Proven experience in property development, real estate, or commercial finance (advantageous) IFRS statutory reporting experience (essential) Extensive CaseWare experience (essential) Tax experience (essential) Experience with budget preparation and financial analysis Sage ERP experience (advantageous) Experience with consolidations (advantageous) Additional professional certification (CPA / CA(SA)) (advantageous) Key Skills & Competencies Strong financial reporting and audit compliance skills Advanced Excel and financial analysis capabilities Excellent numerical accuracy and attention to detail Strong verbal and written communication skills Highly analytical, accurate, and deadline-driven Ability to work under high-pressure, fast-paced environments Strong time management and organisational skills Adaptable and responsive to change within a growing property group How to Apply Interested candidates who meet the above requirements are invited to apply online by submitting a detailed CV.
