Job Description
Hire Resolves client in the Mining Industry is urgently seeking the expertise of a Procurement Manager to join their team in Northwest.
Responsibilities
- Drive appropriate relationships with key internal stakeholders with a principal objective to determine their procurement needs, requirements and enable organisational alignment to reduce bottlenecks and delays in decision-making
- Ensuring compliance with procurement regulations, ethical standards and reducing risks of fraud, waste, and abuse in procurement processes
- Training and supervising staff
- To effectively report and monitor the departmental performance according to best practice standards and to ensure compliance to regulatory compliance
- Own and formulate operational policies in alignment with group policies, frameworks, plans and execute to achieve targets
- Own and formulate procurement strategies, projects, and procedures
- Managing the procurement budgets and ensuring cost-effective procurement practices
Requirements
- Experience in Contracts Management (They currently have 600)
- The role has 2 Lawyers and 3+ Category Managers reporting to it and will run the whole department
- Candidate MUST have experience with SAP Ariba and SAP Finance experience (they will need to be able to strategize and be able to implement the process)
- If the candidate has SAP S/4HANA (SAP S/4HANA is an enterprise resource planning software for large enterprises developed by SAP SE) it would be even better
- The person must be able to run the Commercial Process and lead Procurement Teams with strong commercial acumen
- Must be situated in Gauteng/North West
