About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Sales Representative (Ladieswear & Swimwear) with established experience in fashion sales and strong existing relationships with key retailers and chain stores in the Western Cape. This individual will be responsible for driving sales growth, building strong client partnerships, and expanding the reach of our brands in the market.

Key Responsibilities

  • Promote and sell ladieswear and swimwear brands to boutiques, department stores, and retail chains across the Western Cape.
  • Leverage existing relationships with retailers to secure new orders and long-term stock partnerships.
  • Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing orders and ensuring timely follow-up on customer queries.
  • Present seasonal collections to buyers and retail decision-makers through appointments, in-store visits, and trade shows.
  • Maintain an in-depth knowledge of product lines, brand positioning, and customer needs.
  • Collaborate with the head office to provide sales forecasts, customer insights, and feedback from the market.
  • Monitor competitor activity and market trends to identify new opportunities for growth.
  • Maintain accurate sales records, order details, and client interactions for reporting purposes.
  • Ensure that all orders are tracked and settled in line with commission policy.

Requirements

  • Proven track record of success in fashion sales (ladieswear and/or swimwear highly advantageous).
  • Strong, established network of contacts within the retail and chain store sectors in the Western Cape.
  • Excellent relationship-building skills with the ability to influence and negotiate effectively.
  • Confident presentation skills and ability to represent international brands with professionalism and flair.
  • Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in order processing and customer follow-up.
  • Valid drivers licence and reliable transport (frequent travel to clients is required).
