About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Human Resources Intern to join our team in Dundee. As an HR Intern, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in human resources administration, recruitment, training, and employee relations. You will be working closely with experienced HR professionals to develop your skills and knowledge in the field.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with day-to-day HR administration and employee record management
  • Support recruitment and selection processes, including shortlisting and onboarding
  • Assist with training and skills development initiatives
  • Support employee relations matters and HR reporting
  • Maintain accurate employee files and HR databases
  • Assist with payroll inputs, leave management, and attendance records
  • Ensure compliance with labour legislation, company policies, and procedures
  • Participate in HR projects and audits as required

Requirements

  • National Diploma or Degree in Human Resources Management, Industrial Psychology, or related field
  • Must require in-service training, internship, or workplace exposure to complete the qualification
  • Strong administrative and organisational skills
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • High level of confidentiality and professionalism
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and independently
  • Interest in HR practices within the mining or industrial environment
