• Planning and controlling change within the Machine Shop and other specified areas
• Monitoring and analysing the current system of production to check it’s effective, and working out a strategy for improvement
• Researching new technologies and alternative methods of efficiency
• Reviewing operational budget and managing the costs associated
• Generate and display shifts performance against targets
• Analyse various shift performance tracking sheets (OEE) daily, communicate discrepancies with Co-ordinators, implement actions and monitor improvements
• Track sample built as per the Sample Progress Tracking Sheets and advise manager should risks be identified
• Facilitate and monitor employee training programs & maintain budgeted manning levels in the designated areas
• Drive plant First Time Pass Rate improvements
