About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to join our team at Creative Leadership Solutions in Kempton Park. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing all warehousing operations, including receiving, assembly, packing, and dispatch. They will also be responsible for ensuring accurate inventory control and stock reporting, as well as managing stock levels and performing cycle and full stock counts.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage all warehousing operations including receiving, assembly, packing, and dispatch.
- Ensure accurate inventory control and stock reporting.
- Manage stock levels, perform cycle and full stock counts.
- Eliminate obsolete stock and ensure optimal inventory turnover.
- Plan and manage procurement processes (local and imports).
- Ensure inventory availability while minimizing working capital.
- Develop and maintain inventory naming and numbering conventions.
- Manage transportation and shipping, both domestic and international.
- Negotiate and manage transporter and supplier contracts.
- Ensure cost-effective and timely delivery schedules.
- Maintain safety standards in accordance with Occupational Health and Safety regulations.
- Safeguard warehouse operations and reduce damage and shrinkage.
- Monitor and implement operational procedures and policies.
- Manage warehouse team and logistics staff.
- Provide leadership, training and ensure team development.
- Conduct performance management and ensure accountability.
Requirements
- Minimum education: Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics or a similar field
- Minimum applicable experience: 5 years
