A well-established private hospital in Durban is seeking a dynamic and strategic Hospital Manager to lead clinical operations, drive performance, and support sustainable growth. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement hospital strategies aligned with broader organisational goals
- Oversee day-to-day clinical services, operational performance, and facility management
- Build and maintain internal and external stakeholder relationships
- Identify and source new specialist doctors to enhance service offerings
- Lead financial forecasting, budgeting, and cost management
- Drive HR transformation, promote inclusivity, and support staff development
- Ensure compliance with healthcare legislation, clinical governance, and policies
Requirements
- 8 to 10 years of experience in the healthcare sector
- At least 5 years of senior management experience in a hospital environment
- Degree or diploma (NQF Level 7 or higher) in Business or Health Services Management
- Postgraduate qualification or MBA (advantageous)
- Strong background in clinical governance, financial management, and facilities management
- Proven leadership in a complex healthcare setting
