About the Role
The Internal Sales Administrator will play a vital role in supporting our sales team and providing exceptional customer service, ensuring seamless order processing and timely communication with clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Receiving, checking, and processing customer orders via phone and email.
- Preparing and sending quotes within specified timeframes and issuing invoices accurately.
- Supporting account managers and external sales representatives with administrative tasks and helping with upselling.
- Handling inquiries, resolving issues, and maintaining positive client relationships.
- Act as the primary internal contact for client enquiries regarding stock availability, lead times, and order status.
- Collaborating with the warehouse and logistics teams to expedite urgent orders and resolve delivery discrepancies.
- Maintaining exceptional communication skills with a professional telephone manner.
Requirements
- Minimum 2–5 years of experience in internal sales, sales support, and administrative role.
- Accuracy in order processing and documentation.
- Promptness in responding to customer requests and quotes and queries.
- Ability to act as backup assistant to repairs and rental administrator in case of staff shortages.
