Job Description
Duties: Clinic Nurse
Observe and interview patients to identify care needs.
Provide direct care by performing comprehensive health assessments, making diagnoses and prescribing medications or treatments with the pharmacist.
Collaborate with the pharmacist to ensure optimal patient care.
Make clinical recommendations to the pharmacist.
Plan, evaluate or modify treatment programs based on information gathered by observing and interviewing patients or by analyzing patient records.
Present clients with information to make informed health care and treatment decisions.
Make sure that payments are collected for services
Responsible for and control of Clinic Stock and equipment
Performing of any other duties requested by the Pharmacist
Keep a daily register of all patients that visit the clinic.
Send the complete register to the Office at the end of each month.
Keep the clinic tidy and all equipment in good working order.
Participating in campaigns and competitions as per The Local Choices request.
Use and apply Allegra Software in the clinic.
Make use of the Virtual Doctor option if patients require the services of a medical practitioner.
Provide vaccinations (babies) and other.
Conduct Pap smears to patients if required.
Develop chronic care system for patients.
Clock IN at the Ouch system in the beginning of a shift and clock OUT for lunch and clock IN after the lunch break. Ensure that you clock OUT at the end of each shift. If you need to leave the pharmacy for any reason, be sure to clock OUT when you leave and IN when you return.
Perform any duties as requested by the Responsible Pharmacist from time to time that will ensure the profitability, security or better functioning of the pharmacy.
