About the Role
Our client in Pretoria is seeking a Specialist: Quality Assurance with expertise in the insurance sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring products or services meet established standards of quality, including reliability, usability, and performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Interpret and implement quality assurance standards
- Evaluate adequacy of quality assurance standards
- Devise sampling procedures and directions for recording and reporting quality data
- Plan testing and inspection of systems
- Conduct and monitor testing and inspection of systems and products to ensure finished product quality
- Document internal audits and other quality assurance activities
- Investigate customer complaints and nonconformance issues
- Collect and compile statistical quality data
- Analyse data to identify areas for improvement in the quality system
- Prepare reports to communicate outcomes of quality activities
- Coordinate and support on-site audits conducted by external providers
- Evaluate audit findings and implement appropriate corrective actions
- Identify training needs and inform relevant stakeholders for training interventions required for business to meet quality standards
Requirements
- IT related degree/diploma
- Certification Quality Auditor, Quality Engineer, Quality Improvement Associate
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office and databases
- Knowledge of tools, concepts and methodologies of QA knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements (advantage)
- 3 years’ experience in IT Development
- 1-year experience in long term insurance industry (advantage)
- Quality inspection, auditing and testing experience (advantage)
- Experience with implementation of corrective action programs (advantage)
