About the Role
The Receptionist at Guest House/Apartment Complex serves as the first point of contact for guests and visitors, providing a warm welcome and ensuring a smooth and pleasant experience during their stay.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests upon arrival with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Assist guests with the check-in and check-out process, ensuring all information is accurately recorded.
- Respond to guest inquiries and requests, both in person and via phone or email, promptly and efficiently.
- Provide information about the property, local attractions, dining options, and transportation services.
- Address and resolve guest issues or complaints in a timely and courteous manner.
- Ensure all guest information is accurately entered into the system and updated as necessary.
- Manage room availability and coordinate with housekeeping to ensure rooms are ready for guests.
- Keep management informed of any guest feedback, complaints, or unusual situations.
- Maintain a log of daily activities, guest interactions, and any incidents for reporting purposes.
Requirements
Previous experience as a receptionist or in a similar role, preferably in hospitality or property management.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Proficiency in using computer systems, including booking software and Microsoft Office.
Ability to work independently and handle various tasks with minimal supervision.
Professional appearance and demeanor.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
