Job Description

About the Role

Our client is currently searching for an experienced Senior Software Developer to join their team. As a key member of the development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software applications using Java and Kotlin.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain high-quality software applications
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements
Develop and deploy backend software solutions using Java and Kotlin
Integrate with various databases (MSSQL, MySQL, Postgres, DB2) and profiling tools (JProfiler)
Utilize Springboot, Camel, EE, and other relevant technologies
Implement RESTful web services, Web Services, illustrations, and patterns
Understand Messaging, JMS, illustrations, and patterns
Work with JSON, XML, YAML data formats
Manage Docker and Kubernetes environments
Administer Ubuntu/RHEL systems
Deploy applications on AWS EC2, RDS, CloudFormation, Secrets Manager, Azure, GCP

Requirements

Degree, diploma or relevant experience in IT
5+ years of experience in software development with a strong track record of backend software development
Strong knowledge of Java and Kotlin programming languages
Experience with Maven and Springboot
Understanding of Camel, EE, and other relevant technologies
Proficiency in JPA/Hibernate and database management (MSSQL, MySQL, Postgres, DB2)
Familiarity with RESTful web services, Web Services, illustrations, and patterns
Understanding of Messaging, JMS, illustrations, and patterns
Experience with JSON, XML, YAML data formats

Qualifications

Formal education in Computer Science or related field (Bachelor’s degree)
