About the Role
Our client in the Estate Industry is seeking a skilled Maintenance Manager to oversee the maintenance of their properties. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in maintenance work, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform basic electrical, plumbing, building, general maintenance, and garden tools maintenance.
- Operate and purchase maintenance equipment.
- Conduct roof work on 2nd floors with confidence.
- Supervise garden staff and maintain good relationships with them.
- Drive PDP drivers’ licence with a good track record, including experience driving elderly to malls.
- Communicate effectively with people of all ages, particularly the elderly.
- Attend to emergencies over weekends, holidays, evenings, and outside normal working hours.
- Utilize computer skills in word, excel, emails, internet, etc.
Requirements
- Good knowledge and experience on maintenance work (including basic electrical, plumbing, building, general maintenance, garden tools maintenance).
- Knowledge of maintenance equipment and purchasing of maintenance items.
- Ability to do roof work on 2nd floors with confidence.
- Strong communication skills, particularly with the elderly.
- Experience driving elderly to malls.
- Good people’s communication / people’s person.
