About the Role
Hire Resolve’s client is seeking a highly skilled Systems Implementation Lead to join their team in Centurion, GP. The ideal candidate will be required to travel across the South and East of Africa. The role plays a key part in driving strategic initiatives and improving operational efficiencies for the company and the CA&S Group across Southern and Eastern Africa.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Planning: Define project scope, timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
- Requirements Gathering: Work with stakeholders to translate business needs into system specifications.
- Team Leadership: Lead and coordinate a cross-functional team throughout implementation.
- System Configuration: Oversee system setup and customization to meet business requirements.
- Training, Change & Risk Management:
- User Training: Develop and deliver training programs to ensure seamless system adoption.
- Change Management: Manage the transition from legacy systems, minimizing disruption.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure implementations adhere to quality standards and project objectives.
- Risk Mitigation: Identify potential challenges and develop contingency plans.
- Process Optimization & Vendor Management:
- Business Process Design & Optimization: Improve operational workflows for efficiency and scalability.
- Vendor Management: Coordinate with technology partners to ensure successful implementation.
Requirements
- Degree in BEng/BSc Industrial Engineering, BCom Logistics, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in supply chain, logistics, or systems implementation.
- Exposure to ERP, WMS, and TMS systems is essential.
- Strong Microsoft Excel proficiency; MS SQL experience is a plus.
- Ability to manage multiple initiatives and work effectively under pressure.
