About the Role
A fast-growing and innovative service provider in the tax technology and compliance sector is seeking a dynamic Account Executive to join their high-performing team. This role is ideal for a strategic, solutions-driven individual with a background in sales and client engagement, particularly in tax, fintech, SaaS, or professional services environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively identify and develop new business opportunities through networking, market research, and digital tools such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator and ZoomInfo.
- Build and nurture long-term client relationships by offering tailored tax compliance solutions.
- Conduct solution-based sales presentations, clearly demonstrating value in addressing client pain points.
- Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing, ensuring alignment with client expectations and internal capabilities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, Legal, Customer Success) to deliver a seamless onboarding and client satisfaction experience.
- Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and regulatory updates to inform sales strategies.
- Maintain a robust pipeline using CRM platforms such as Salesforce, reporting progress and key metrics to the Head of Sales.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field (postgraduate qualification advantageous).
- Minimum of 3 years experience in sales within the tax, fintech, SaaS, or professional services industry.
- Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with CRM systems and sales tools such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator and ZoomInfo.
- Self-motivated, highly organised, and results-oriented.
