About the Role
Hire Resolve’s client is seeking a creative and motivated Industrial Designer to join their dynamic team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will have a passion for design and a strong foundation in CAD software.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop innovative design concepts for various projects, ensuring functionality and aesthetic appeal.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine designs and incorporate feedback.
- Create detailed 3D models and technical drawings using CAD software (Fusion360 or SolidWorks).
- Conduct research and analysis to inform design decisions and stay current with industry trends.
- Assist in prototyping and testing processes to ensure product viability.
- Present design ideas and solutions to stakeholders clearly and effectively.
Requirements
- 1-2 years of experience in industrial design or a related field.
- Proficiency in CAD software, specifically Fusion360 or SolidWorks.
- Strong creative and analytical skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to work on-site in Cape Town.
