About the Role

MECS Africa is seeking a highly skilled Training Facilitator to join our team in Secunda, Mpumalanga. As a key member of our training department, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality training programs to our clients in the mining and explosives industry. We are looking for an individual with extensive experience in the sector and a strong understanding of the Skills and Development Act.

Key Responsibilities

• Artisan development (mining sector)
• Creating and implementing training matrices
• Tracking Workforce Safety Plans (WSP) and Annual Training Reports (ATR)

Requirements

• Occupationally Directed Training and Development Practitioner (OTDP) certification
• Train the Trainer certification
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and learning management systems (LMS)
• Valid driver’s license
• Assessor certification
• Moderator certification
• 5 to 7 years of experience in the mining and explosives industry
• Full understanding of the Skills and Development Act
• Chemical plant experience
