About the Role
Unique Personnel Ltd is seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our Standard Pumps warehouse, ensuring efficient logistics processes, maintaining high standards of safety and quality, and driving operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise /-12 staff
- Optimize Logistics processes (inbound, internal, outbound) for efficiency and cost reduction
- Maintain 5S housekeeping standards and document continuous improvement projects
- Ensure personnel safety through monitoring safe loading, offloading, and material stacking on warehouse high-rack system
- Provide a safe working environment by adhering to company policies, Occupational Health and Safety Act, and Regulations
- Maintain inventory record accuracy using SAP WMS tools
- Supervise, mentor, motivate, train, and develop personnel to meet operational goals and customer demands
- Ensure equipment maintenance and operator certification for Barcode Scanners, Vertical Storage units, Cranes, Forklifts, Electric Reach Trucks, and pallet jacks
- Plan, coordinate, and monitor goods receiving and putaway processes for incoming raw materials and finished goods from internal and external sources
- Oversee the picking of materials based on production orders and MRP scheduling to meet manufacturing deadlines
- Coordinate inventory transfers between different internal warehouse zones for raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods
- Plan and lead the preparation and staging of kitted parts or sub-assemblies for different production runs
- Direct and supervise all order fulfillment activities, including spare parts stock transfers, finished goods stock transfers, and customer order deliveries and collections
- Troubleshoot and resolve shipping discrepancies and delivery issues promptly
Requirements
- 5 years proven experience as a Warehouse Supervisor
- Proficiency in Warehouse Management Software (SAP experience advantageous)
- 5 years warehousing experience in a similar role
- Warehousing, Logistics, and Transport Management experience
- Strong problem-solving skills to resolve operational issues and analytical ability to solve complex inventory discrepancies
Qualifications
- Diploma in Warehouse/Logistics Management
