About the Role
The Recruiter is seeking an experienced Site Manager to manage and run commercial building projects across Johannesburg and Pretoria. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of project delivery, ensuring timely completion within budget and to specification.
Key Responsibilities
- Full site management from site establishment to practical completion
- Manage subcontractors, suppliers, and site labour
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to specification
- Oversee quality control, health & safety compliance, and site administration
- Coordinate with professional teams, clients, and head office
- Daily site planning, progress reporting, and programme control
Requirements
- Minimum 8 years experience as a Site Manager on commercial building projects
- Proven experience on medical facilities, hospitals, or similar regulated environments (advantageous)
- Strong background in concrete structures, finishes, and services coordination
- Relevant Construction Management / Building qualification
- Sound understanding of JBCC contracts, site programming, and QA systems
