About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Lodge Anchor to join our award-winning luxury safari lodge in Sabi Sands, South Africa. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for creating unforgettable guest experiences and ensuring seamless daily operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Lodge Manager with daily operations and ensure seamless guest experiences
- Act as a point of contact for guests, handling requests, feedback, and queries with professionalism
- Oversee and assist with front-of-house duties, reservations, hosting, and guest check-ins/check-outs
- Maintain communication between departments and ensure high service standards are upheld
- Assist with staff coordination, motivation, and general lodge management when needed
Requirements
- Previous experience in a similar role in a high-end lodge or hotel environment
- Strong F&B knowledge
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Confident hosting ability and an eye for detail
- Passion for the hospitality industry and guest satisfaction
- Comfortable living in a remote bush setting and working flexible hours
