About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Claims Officer to join our team in Cape Town, working remotely as part of our nationwide support network. As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring client satisfaction and engagement, managing a portfolio of assigned clients through each stage of the application process for early release of Superannuation due to compassionate grounds.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review support documents to ensure compliance with ATO guidelines
  • Schedule the lodgment
  • Lodge the application to the Australian Taxation Office (ATO)
  • Maintain regular updates with clients in each stage of the application process, including ATO approval, through various channels, including phone calls, emails, and SMS
  • Resolve all client inquiries and concerns with empathy, urgency, and professionalism
  • Uphold SuperCare policies and procedures while adhering to service level agreements (SLAs) with clients

Requirements

  • At least 1 year of experience in a customer service role, preferably in a corporate setting within a service industry such as insurance and banking industries
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen attention to detail
  • Proficiency in using CRM and other relevant tools
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
