About the Role
We are seeking an experienced ERP Consultant with a strong financial focus and expertise in FMCG sales and distribution to join our client’s support and service delivery team. The role involves providing configuration, documentation, client liaison, and incident management for businesses across South Africa and the African continent.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a liaison between clients and internal specialists, ensuring efficient resolution of software issues.
- Troubleshoot retail and distribution software professionally, maintaining service quality levels.
- Review outstanding matters and ensure proper hand-offs in line with SLAs.
- Complete projects within agreed timelines.
- Travel nationally and internationally as required.
- Work independently or collaboratively in a team environment.
- Provide training and guidance to clients on ERP system usage and best practices.
- Assist in system configuration and implementation for new clients.
- Prepare and maintain detailed documentation of processes, issues, and resolutions.
- Support month-end and year-end financial processes within client systems.
Requirements
- Degree or diploma with an accounting focus.
- 10 years experience as a Client Support Consultant in FMCG sales and distribution.
- Knowledge of Retail and Distribution software, General Ledger, financial statements, and reports.
- Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) in FMCG.
- Understanding of retail/distribution business processes and financial cycles.
- Excellent English verbal and written communication.
- Reliability, punctuality, and ability to work non-standard office hours.
