About the Role
A leading manufacturing organisation is seeking an experienced HR & Payroll Specialist to join their Johannesburg team. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who can manage full payroll functions while supporting core HR operations, employee relations, and compliance within a fast-paced industrial environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end payroll processing using SAGE Payroll, ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and legislative compliance.
- Administer employee benefits, compensation, and statutory deductions.
- Support recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding processes.
- Handle employee relations, queries, and HR administration.
- Ensure compliance with South African labour legislation and internal HR policies.
- Maintain and update employee records, HR systems, and payroll data.
- Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies, procedures, and initiatives.
- Prepare payroll and HR reports for management as required.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Human Resources, Payroll, or a related field
- Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in HR and Payroll
- Proven experience with SAGE Payroll (essential)
- Strong knowledge of South African labour legislation and payroll compliance
