Company: Prexoz EngineeringLocation: Centurion, GautengPosition: Air-Conditioning & Refrigeration TechnicianPrexoz Engineering is seeking a motivated, skilled, and hardworking Air-Conditioning & Refrigeration Technician to join our growing technical team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installation, maintenance, fault finding, and repair of commercial and industrial HVAC and refrigeration systems.Note: All shortlisted candidates will be required to undergo a practical technical assessment.Key Responsibilities Installation of air-conditioning and refrigeration systems including Split Units, VRF, Air Handling Units, Chillers, Cooling Towers, and Package Units Preventative maintenance, servicing, fault finding, diagnosis, and repairs Accurate completion of job cards, service reports, inspection reports, and bills of material Planning, coordination, and execution of work including delegation where required Review and interpretation of drawings, layouts, and routing (electrical & mechanical) Troubleshooting of refrigeration circuits, electrical controls, VSDs, and electromechanical components Compliance with safety standards, hazard identification, and risk assessments Ability to work independently and lead a team when required Willingness to work extended hours and travel outside Gauteng when necessaryMinimum Requirements N3 Qualification (Electrical or Mechanical / Electromechanical) Trade Test Certificate (Refrigeration Mechanic / HVAC) SAIRAC / SARACCA Authorisation Minimum 3 years hands-on experience Valid Drivers License Strong experience in VRF, Chillers, AHUs, refrigeration units, and electrical controls Solid understanding of refrigeration and HVAC systems, components, and failure analysis Competent in the use of hand tools, measuring instruments, and basic welding Ability to read drawings, write sketches, and take accurate measurementsKnowledge & Skills Refrigeration load estimation and space cooling calculations Mechanical and electrical system diagnosis Technical problem-solving and fault analysis Strong reporting, communication, and organizational skillsAttention to detail, neat workmanship, and professional finishAttributes Trustworthy and ethical Customer-focused Detail-oriented Strong communication and teamwork skills Ability to prioritize and multitaskAssessment Process Interview Practical demonstration of experience Problem-solving capability evaluationHow to Apply:Interested applicants must submit the following to .za: Updated CV Certified copies of qualifications Certified copy of ID Certified copy of Drivers LicensePrexoz EngineeringEngineering excellence you can trust.#PrexozEngineering#NowHiring#Vacancy#JobOpportunity#HVACJobs#RefrigerationTechnician#AirConditioningTechnician#HVACTechnician#EngineeringJobs#TechnicalJobs#TradeTest#SAIRAC#SARACCA#CenturionJobs#GautengJobs#SouthAfricaJobs
