Job Description

Job descriptionJob Purpose:To inspect, service, and maintain Portable fire extinguishers, Hose reels and Hydrants in compliance with SANS 1475 and SAQCC Fire regulations.Key Responsibilities:Service and maintain fire extinguishers (DCP, CO, Foam, etc.).Inspect and test hose reels for proper function and compliance.Complete service reports, labels, and job cards accurately.Ensure all equipment meets SANS 1475 and OHSA standards.Advise clients on correct placement and usage of fire equipment.Identify non-compliance and recommend corrective actions.Qualifications & Requirements:Valid SAQCC 1475 Registration (Compulsory)Fire Equipment Servicing Certificate (SAQCC-accredited)Matric Certificate (Grade 12) or equivalentValid Drivers License (Code 08+)Sober habits (regular testing applies).Must live within reasonable distance of Brackenfell industrial area.Good communication skills and attention to detailWorking Conditions:On-site servicing at various client locationsTravel may be requiredUse of PPE and adherence to safety protocols is mandatoryJob Types: Full-time, PermanentWork Location: kuilrivier
