As our Sales Specialist, you’ll use your proven track record in sales to connect individuals with purpose-driven travel, volunteering, and professional development experiences across our global programs—including GVI, Bushwise, and the GVI Foundation. This is not an entry-level role. We’re looking for a seasoned, confident closer who thrives on challenge, momentum, and results. You’ll engage with high-intent leads, guide them through life-changing decisions, and play a direct role in expanding GVI’s global impact. Every sale you make helps fund sustainable development, education, and conservation initiatives worldwide—meaning your success drives both revenue and real-world change. WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING Converting qualified inbound leads through consultative, high-value conversations. Managing your sales pipeline with precision using CRM tools (Salesforce experience a plus). Hosting one-on-one consultations and group sessions to inspire potential participants. Building authentic relationships with prospects and alumni to encourage repeat and referral business. Delivering against ambitious targets while maintaining an exceptional customer experience. Contributing insights to continuously improve sales strategy and performance. Collaborating closely with marketing and operations teams to maximise conversion opportunities. WHO YOU ARE & WHAT YOU BRING 4 years of proven sales experience with a strong record of meeting or exceeding targets. A natural hunter – motivated, persistent, and energised by closing deals. Skilled communicator across phone, email, and live chat – able to connect quickly and persuasively. Organised, proactive, and driven by measurable results. Tech-savvy with experience in CRM systems and digital tools. Resilient and adaptable , thriving in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Passionate about purpose-driven work and eager to contribute to something bigger than yourself. Bonus points if you have: Experience in international education, travel, or social impact sectors. Exposure to global markets (US, EMEA, APAC). A background in consultative or solution-based sales. WHAT’S IN IT FOR YOU Base salary: Up to R25,000 per month (depending on experience).
