About the Role
A well-established, large Multi Franchise Dealership is looking for an experienced Dealer Principal to lead their team and implement processes to achieve high performance levels. The successful candidate must have previous DP experience, be energetic, self-driven, and disciplined.
Key Responsibilities
- Formulate and execute strategic plans for the dealership group to achieve and exceed sales, profit, and market share targets.
- Oversee all operational processes, ensuring maximum efficiency and profitability across all departments, including sales (new and used vehicles), after-sales, service, parts, and administration.
- Implement forward-thinking ideas and modern business methods to adapt to a dynamic market.
- Report directly to senior management or the board of directors, providing regular business updates and financial analysis.
Requirements
- Proven experience (5+ years) as a Dealer Principal, General Manager, or in a similar senior management role within the automotive industry.
- Demonstrated success in managing a multi-franchise dealership or a large automotive retail operation.
- Strong financial acumen and a comprehensive understanding of dealership operations, including managing profit and loss statements.
