About the Role
Telebest is seeking a skilled Workshop Foreman to join our team in Potchefstroom. As a key member of our workshop, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair of our fleet of Mercedes Benz Trucks. If you have a passion for mechanical work, excellent analytical skills, and a strong communication style, we would like to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the workshop, ensuring timely completion of tasks and projects
- Conduct thorough inspections and assessments of vehicles to identify areas for repair or maintenance
- Develop and implement efficient workflows and processes to streamline production
- Collaborate with team members to achieve common goals and objectives
- Respond promptly to requests from management and other stakeholders
- Work closely with the Mercedes Star Diagnostics Computer System to ensure accurate data entry and reporting
Requirements
- Minimum 5-years mechanical experience
- Computer literacy on Google web-based applications, Excel, and Word
- Strong communicator
- Excellent analytical skills with a passion for accuracy and attention to detail
- Responds promptly to requests and flexible in their approach
- Deadline-driven with ability to carefully assess and streamline processes
- Must be able to handle pressure and be willing to work extended hours
- Minimum qualification Grade 12 with the necessary working experience
- Knowledge and experience working on Mercedes Benz Trucks
- Ability to work with the Mercedes Star Diagnostics Computer System
- Valid South African EC driver’s licence
Qualifications
