About the Role

The Human Resource Specialist will play a critical role in ensuring the attraction, assessment, and appointment of suitably qualified candidates for Johannesburg-based positions at JOB Holdings. This is an excellent opportunity to join our team and contribute to the success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Recruitment Advertising Draft, review, and place vacancy advertisements in newspapers, online recruitment platforms, and social media channels.
  • Ensure all advertisements comply with organizational requirements and employment equity principles.
  • Receive, record, and manage responses to advertised vacancies.
  • Maintain accurate recruitment records, reports, and candidate databases.
  • Conduct pre-screening of applications against minimum job requirements.
  • Coordinate and facilitate the shortlisting process with line managers and relevant stakeholders.
  • Conduct background checks, reference checks, and verification of qualifications for shortlisted candidates.
  • Facilitate and administer competency-based assessments where required.
  • Coordinate interview schedules, interview panels, venues, and logistics.
  • Prepare interview documentation and ensure compliance with fair, objective, and transparent recruitment practices.
  • Coordinate the preparation and issuance of offers of employment.
  • Compile recruitment close-out reports, including outcomes, compliance, and appointment recommendations.

Requirements

  • National Qualification Framework (NQF) Level 6 qualification in Human Resources Management, Industrial Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of five (5) years or more proven experience in recruitment and selection.
  • Demonstrated experience managing end-to-end recruitment processes.
  • Executive recruitment experience will be a distinct advantage.
