About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Architect with a strong track record in delivering large-scale mixed-use and commercial projects. The successful candidate will play a key role across all project stages, from initiation through to completion, while leading project teams and engaging directly with clients and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver large-scale mixed-use and commercial architectural projects
- Represent the practice at project briefing and client meetings
- Produce accurate sketch illustrations in Revit aligned with client briefs
- Assist with graphic design work for presentations
- Assist with 3D visualisation of project proposals
- Produce and coordinate council submission documentation (SDP and Building Plans)
- Produce fully coordinated working drawings with all disciplines
- Attend site meetings to proactively identify and resolve issues
- Conduct independent site inspections and monitor construction progress
- Maintain full involvement across multiple projects from initiation to finalisation
- Lead, motivate, and guide project teams
Requirements
- Master’s Degree in Architecture (M.Arch)
- Minimum 5–10 years post-graduate experience
- Registered with SACAP
- Advanced proficiency in Revit (certification advantageous)
- Completion of BP Revit Assessment with a minimum score of 80%
- Ability to sketch both in Revit and by hand
- Intermediate proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite
- Intermediate proficiency in 3D visualisation software
- Advanced knowledge of council documentation and submission processes
- Advanced technical detailing and construction documentation experience
- Advanced site administration and project management knowledge
Qualifications
- Formal education/certifications: Master’s Degree in Architecture (M.Arch)
