About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement professional to join our luxury five-star lodge team. As a key member of our operations department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth execution of procurement processes, while also supporting high-volume events and fine dining experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Negotiate with suppliers to secure best prices for goods and services.
- Manage supplier relationships, including communication and performance monitoring.
- Analyze inventory levels and costs to optimize procurement strategies.
- Utilize procurement software to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with HACCP, safety, and South African regulations related to procurement and storage.
- Collaborate with multiple lodge departments, including finance staff, to ensure seamless operations.
