About the Role
FROGG Recruitment is seeking a Risk Analyst to join our global client in Century City, Cape Town. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing and assessing potential risks that could affect the organization, working closely with various departments to develop risk mitigation strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Risk Identification and Assessment – Identify potential risks through data analysis, market research, and stakeholder consultations.
- Assess the likelihood and impact of identified risks on the organization.
- Risk Mitigation – Develop and implement risk management strategies and controls to mitigate identified risks.
- Monitor the effectiveness of risk mitigation strategies and make adjustments as necessary.
- Data Analysis – Analyze financial statements, market trends, and other relevant data to identify potential risks.
- Use statistical models and software to quantify risks and predict potential outcomes.
- Reporting and Documentation – Prepare detailed risk assessment reports for management and stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate records of risk assessments, mitigation strategies, and outcomes.
- Compliance and Regulation – Ensure that risk management practices comply with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
Requirements
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and software, such as Excel, R, or Python.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven experience in risk analysis or a related field is preferred but not required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
