About the Role

Kendrick Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced and guest-focused Duty Manager to join a luxury boutique hotel in the heart of Cape Town. This is an exciting opportunity for a hospitality professional who thrives in a refined, high-touch guest environment and has a strong background in boutique hotel operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily hotel operations and ensure seamless guest experience
  • Manage guest relations, handling requests, complaints, and special needs
  • Supervise and support front office and operational teams during shifts
  • Ensure high standards of service delivery across all departments
  • Coordinate with housekeeping, reservations, and food and beverage teams
  • Handle daily reporting, shift handovers, and operational checks
  • Maintain a visible presence to ensure guest satisfaction at all times

Requirements

Minimum 5 years experience in boutique hotel operations

Strong background in front office and guest relations

Proven ability to manage daily hotel operations effectively

Excellent problem-solving and guest resolution skills
