About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Procurement Intern to join our team in Johannesburg on a 24-month contract. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with our procurement team, contributing to the development of procurement strategies and processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the planning and execution of procurement projects
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify cost-effective suppliers
- Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and stakeholders
- Support the procurement team in creating and implementing procurement policies
- Perform other duties as assigned by the procurement manager
Requirements
- Matric Diploma/ Degree in Business Management, Procurement, Supply Chain, Logistics or related qualification
- Demonstrated professionalism, hard-work and ability to grasp concepts swiftly (no prior experience required)
Qualifications
- A Degree or Postgraduate qualification is advantageous
- Certifications like CIPS (Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply) are advantageous
