About the Role

As a Business Analyst at PST.AG, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our business requirements are translated into technical solutions that meet our objectives and pain points. You will work closely with various stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze data, and document findings. Your expertise in business analysis, technical collaboration, and communication will be essential in driving the success of our projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with business stakeholders, global trade compliance specialists, developers, legal researchers and data teams to elicit and define clear, complete, and testable requirements.
  • Conduct stakeholder interviews, workshops, and research to understand business objectives and pain points.
  • Create and maintain detailed documentation including Business Requirements Documents (BRD), Functional Specifications (FRS), and Use Cases.
  • Translate complex business needs into technical requirements, wireframes, workflows, and acceptance criteria.
  • Design JSON/XML schemas to unify multi-country customs data (e.g., EU Zolltarife) into a single API structure.
  • Define use cases for AI/LLM integration in document automation (e.g., extracting nested tables from PDFs).
  • Collaborate with developers on data pipelines and API specifications.
  • Document compliance and regulatory requirements in a format suitable for system configuration and automation.
  • Translate complex regulatory concepts into clear requirements for technical teams
  • Create and maintain detailed business process documentation (text diagrams).
  • Identify and define required input/output documents within workflows.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Analytics’ or any related discipline
  • 5 years as a Technical BA in regulated industries (trade, logistics, finance)
  • Experience working with structured and unstructured data, including XML, CSV, and government publications.
  • Experience creating detailed business process documentation (text & diagrams)
  • Strong familiarity with Spec-Driven Development concept
  • Knowledge in Technical Methodology: Open Spec, BMAD
  • Experience with AI/ML concepts or integrating with LLM-based system
