About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Sales Consultant to join our team in Cape Town City Centre. The successful candidate will be responsible for generating new business, growing existing relationships, and driving sales growth across commercial and corporate clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Generate new business by generating leads, cold calling, customer appointments, and follow-up proposals
  • Produce detailed quotations and proposals using the company’s templates
  • Maintain and grow relationships within certain current accounts
  • Identify new opportunities within current accounts and convert them into upselling/cross-selling opportunities
  • Manage product sales from lead generation to closing of the opportunity
  • Update all sales activity and contact information on a frequent basis
  • Meet required sales targets
  • Conduct presentations/demonstrations to senior clients (MD/CFO/CIO/CEO) and procurement teams

Requirements

Qualifications

  • A minimum of matric and preferably further education/training
  • A minimum of 4 – 6 years of target driven sales or business development experience, preferably in the solutions/IT service industry
  • Sales experience relates to solution selling and subscription sales is preferred
