About the Role

Kendrick Recruitment is excited to recruit a polished and service-driven Guest Liaison / Concierge Relief for a prestigious luxury boutique hotel in Cape Town. This is a fantastic opportunity for a hospitality professional who loves crafting personalised guest experiences, anticipating needs, and delivering exceptional service at every touchpoint.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver seamless, personalised service from pre-arrival to departure
  • Manage guest interactions and provide informed recommendations for activities, dining, and cultural experiences
  • Coordinate with internal departments to ensure smooth operations
  • Curate tailored guest itineraries and experiences
  • Maintain accurate guest profiles and records of preferences
  • Uphold luxury service standards and attention to detail at all times

Requirements

Proven concierge experience in luxury hospitality (5-star environment essential)

Exceptional organisational and administrative skills

Deep knowledge of Cape Town’s dining, cultural, arts, and leisure experiences

Anticipatory, intuitive, and guest-focused with excellent communication skills

Sophisticated, polished, and professional presentation

Fluent in English; additional languages an advantage

Computer literate (Opera, MICROS/POS, Word, Excel)

Flexible and willing to work early, late, and night shifts

Salary & Benefits

Salary: R16,500 gross per month

Medical Aid: 50% contribution (main member only, Discovery Health – Key Care plan)

Pension: 6% contribution, employer and employee (Momentum)

Gratuity: Paid monthly in arrears
