About the Role
We are seeking a seasoned Corporate Tax Manager to join our team in Johannesburg. As a senior tax professional, you will be responsible for providing expert technical advice on corporate tax issues and leading due diligence and tax structuring projects. You will work closely with clients and authorities, and supervise junior team members to ensure high-quality results.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide deep technical advice on corporate tax issues
- Draft opinions, concept papers, and complex advisory reports
- Lead due diligence and tax structuring projects
- Engage with clients and authorities professionally and directly
- Supervise junior team members, review work, and mentor
- Spot risks and opportunities within client portfolios
Requirements
- CA(SA) or Attorney with HDip or MCom in Tax
- 68 years in a corporate tax advisory or consulting environment
- Strong technical skills and commercial awareness
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, lean team, a doer, not a delegator
- Excellent communication, research, and presentation skills
Qualifications
- Formal education/certifications (Bachelor’s, LLB, Matric, etc.)
