About the Role
K2 Recruit is partnering with a leading managed services provider to recruit a motivated Sales Specialist to join their dynamic team in Century City. This role is ideal for a commercially driven professional who thrives on building relationships, generating new business, and growing existing accounts within the IT, networking, and IPTV sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively identify and target new business opportunities within IT, networking, and IPTV solutions.
- Conduct cold calls, market research, and networking to generate qualified leads.
- Develop and deliver compelling proposals and presentations to potential clients.
- Negotiate contracts and close deals while maintaining profitability and commercial outcomes.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with existing clients.
- Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell additional services and solutions.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts, ensuring exceptional client satisfaction.
- Monitor client needs and industry trends to proactively recommend new solutions.
- Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions, opportunities, and pipeline activity in CRM systems.
- Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and updates for management.
- Collaborate with internal teams (technical, operations, project delivery) to ensure successful implementation of client solutions.
- Attend industry events, client meetings, and networking opportunities to expand brand presence.
- Stay informed of market trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies in IT, networking, and IPTV.
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing guidance and support for technology solutions.
Requirements
- Proven experience in B2B sales, preferably within IT, networking, managed services, or related technical sectors.
- Demonstrated ability to hunt for new business and grow existing accounts.
- Strong relationship-building, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Target-driven with a history of meeting or exceeding sales goals.
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in CRM systems and MS Office suite.
