A leading automation solutions provider is looking for a Robotics Sales Engineer to drive the sale of industrial robot systems, with a strong focus on a world-class Japanese robot brand. If you enjoy solving automation challenges, working with factories, and helping clients adopt smarter, faster robotic solutions, this role is for you. Non-Negotiable Requirements: Engineering qualification: Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical, or Automation. 25 years technical sales experience in industrial automation or robotics. Hands-on understanding of robot systems (pick & place, palletising, welding, assembly, and packaging). Ability to read technical drawings and propose engineered solutions. Valid drivers licence & own vehicle. Job Experience & Skills Required: Promote and sell industrial robots into the manufacturing, packaging, automotive, and general industry. Conduct site visits, assess automation needs, and recommend robot solutions. Work closely with integrators, OEMs, and end-users to scope applications. Prepare quotes, solution proposals, and ROI justifications for customers. Support demos, trials, customer training, and new system commissioning where required. Build and manage a strong sales pipeline while developing new business. Strong technical communication skills able to explain robotics in simple, practical terms.
