About the Role

As a Retail Sales Manager at Aleon Pty Ltd in Nelspruit, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and ensuring the overall success of our retail operations. You will be expected to lead a team, manage stock levels, and implement marketing strategies to increase customer engagement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Merchandising of products to stimulate increased sales
  • Advertising of products (within and out of store)
  • Purchasing of stock
  • Stock control including stock levels etc.
  • Introduction of new products and ranges
  • Cash control i.e. cash-up receipts and processing
  • Sales to calling customers
  • Security of the sales area
  • Budgeting and targets for sales and expenses
  • Promotions within the sales area and externally
  • Effective housekeeping
  • On the job training of staff
  • Maintenance and measurement of service and staff
  • Introduction of sales procedures and maintenance thereof
  • Marketing Intelligence and pricing
  • Pricing structures and Price lists
  • Control of delivery vehicle
  • Some administration duties
  • Morale and team building
  • Discount structures
  • Work extended hours when necessary

Requirements

Retail experience, a strong leader with excellent communication skills. A presentable individual who is able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

Formal education or relevant qualifications are not required for this role. However, a degree in Business, Commerce, or a related field would be an asset.
