About the Role

Takora Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Intermediate Electrical Engineer to join our team in Durbanville. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in electrical engineering principles and be proficient in industry-standard software. Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and implement electrical systems and solutions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and within budget
  • Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation and reports using Revit or BIM software
  • Provide technical support and guidance to colleagues as needed

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science Degree or Bachelor of Technology Degree or Bachelor of Engineering Degree in Electrical Engineering
  • Registered with ECSA as a Professional Engineer or as a Professional Technologist Engineer
  • 3 – 5 years of experience in Electrical Engineering
  • Experience in Revit or BIM software
  • Knowledge of the OHS Act (SANS and IEC codes)
  • Knowledge of local and international standards and codes
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Project, and Microsoft Access
