About the Role

Brink Vervoer, situated in Paarl, is seeking a Financial Accountant to join their financial team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing financial leadership and support to the organization, with a focus on ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities

Monthly payroll processing and administration
Management and oversight of total debtors’ and creditors’
Accounting up to trial balance
General Ledger analyses and reconciliations
Budgeting and budget control
Monthly financial reporting and management reports
Year-end audit preparation

Requirements

Relevant tertiary qualification (BCom / BAcc)
At least three years practical experience in a similar position
SAIPA / SAICA professional registration will be beneficial
Excellent computer and software skills (SAGE and Simple Pay will be beneficial)
Outstanding numerical and analytical skills
Good interpersonal and communication skills
A detail-oriented personality
Good judgment and ability to maintain confidentiality
Ability to work under pressure
