Job Description

Work within a diverse and expanding hospitality environment Contribute to multiple business units across accommodation, retail, dining, and property Be part of a team striving for excellence, efficiency, and continuous improvement What you will be doing: Prepare accurate financial reports, highlighting trends and insights Lead budgeting and forecasting with department heads Manage audit processes and ensure accounting compliance Conduct financial analysis to identify variances and improvement opportunities Oversee cash flow, liquidity, and cash‑forecasting processes Drive financial process improvements across the organisation Provide leadership, mentorship, and financial guidance to the finance team Manage full financial accounting for a group of four companies Reconcile revenue to deposits and VAT using Xero Oversee bank reconciliations, creditors, and stock functions Prepare rental and recovery invoices Post journals, maintain fixed asset registers, and produce monthly management accounts Manage VAT submissions and payment releases Support the annual audit process What we are looking for: Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field SAIPA qualified would be advantageous Proven Financial Accountant experience within hospitality or FMCG of no less than 3 years Strong knowledge of accounting principles and compliance standards Advanced analytical and problem‑solving abilities Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to thrive in a high‑paced, collaborative environment Xero experience strongly preferred Knowledge of Lightspeed (stock system) advantageous Benefits and unique aspects: Opportunity to work across a diverse portfolio of business units Exposure to a dynamic hospitality operation Role offers both operational and strategic financial involvement If you haven’t heard back from us within two weeks of submitting your application, unfortunately your application has not been successful this time.
