About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Sales Support Assistant to join our team at Westlake, providing administrative support to drive business growth and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Administration and management of the customer quotation process
- High-quality service through accurate and on-time delivery of customer quotes
- Administrative onboarding and data management of customers
- Providing admin support to business development teams & internal sales support
- Coordination of special projects
- Contribution to the development and implementation of strategies to enhance customer service, increase sales & efficiency, and overall profitability
- Checking RFQs and clarifying queries with customers before actioning with Technical and Procurement Departments
- Collaborating and coordinating the quoting process with all internal stakeholders
- Quality checking quotes for completeness, accuracy, and professionalism
- Following up outstanding quotes with responsible sales team members to conclusion
- Completing/distributing relevant customer & supplier onboarding documentation and NDAs
- Assisting with forecasting and stock management as directed
- Primary point of contact for sales, customer enquiries & requests if internal staff absent
- Resolving sales-related issues and providing real-time customer support
- Handling all inbound leads and website enquiries and qualifying sales leads
- Coordinating internal stakeholders to achieve project outcomes for due dates
- Managing potential project bottlenecks and identifying cost savings in work processes
Requirements
- Grade 12 supported by a sales support or administrative qualification/certification
- 3 years in a similar role
- Good commercial acumen, administrative and organisational skills
- Excellent written and spoken skills in English
- Advanced skills in MS Office suite with average typing speed with high accuracy
- Proven skills in data research and analytics
- Competence in Adobe software and familiarity with privacy legislation (POPI) would be advantageous
