Experience / Qualifications / Requirements

Relevant tooling industry qualification or equivalent practical experience
Business Management, Marketing, or Sales qualification at NQF Level 6 or higher
Minimum 5+ years managerial or supervisory experience in a relevant industry
Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders and deliver results at a regional level

Key Competencies

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong industry knowledge, particularly in tooling, die, and mould or manufacturing sectors
• Technical ability to understand industry operations and challenges

Core Activities

• Establish and maintain contact with the TDM sector at executive and operational levels
• Provide support and advisory services to TDM industry participants
• Market and promote client effectively across the region
• Negotiate contracts and agreements with industry partners
• Facilitate industry benchmarking and performance improvement initiatives
• Source companies for student placement programs
• Drive enterprise and business development initiatives
• Report on industry status, challenges, and opportunities
• Represent client at industry events, networking sessions, and public engagements
• Develop membership and maintain ongoing relationships with industry participants
