About the Role
Krystal Beach (Pty) Ltd is seeking a reliable and hardworking Gardener & Maintenance Handyman to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining garden areas in a neat and orderly condition while performing basic maintenance and repair duties throughout the property.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain all garden areas in a neat, clean, and orderly condition
- Perform general maintenance and repairs in public areas, guest rooms, and offices
- Carry out basic plumbing, carpentry, and electrical maintenance duties
- Identify and fix safety hazards
- Assemble furniture and equipment as required
- Liaise with contractors and external service providers
- Work closely with Front Office and Housekeeping regarding maintenance-related matters
Requirements
- Basic maintenance experience (plumbing, carpentry, electrical)
- Ability to operate gardening and maintenance tools safely
- Trustworthy, honest, punctual, and reliable
- Good understanding of the English language
- Presentable and professional appearance
- Willingness to work flexible hours, weekends, and public holidays
