About the Role
As a Sales Manager at Virgin Active South Africa, you will play a crucial role in driving sales growth and delivering exceptional customer experiences. Your purpose is to make exercise irresistible by achieving monthly club sales results that exceed budget. You will lead our high-performing sales team to achieve customer acquisition and revenue growth targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Achieve growth and consistently meet sales targets by successfully leading the sales team.
- Make recommendations to sales plans and reviews, preparing and completing action plans for the sales team.
- Coach the team for successful delivery and implement customer-service standards.
- Identify trends and implement change as needed.
- Maintain and develop a high-performance sales team with a focus on accomplishing sales objectives.
- Perform administrative and management functions in line with daily, monthly, and quarterly deadlines.
- Sell memberships to achieve set monthly budget and sales goals.
- Complete all administrative procedures as required by the company.
Requirements
- Matric Certificate (required)
- Relevant tertiary qualification (advantageous)
Qualifications
- At least 2 years of experience in a sales management role, managing a sales team (required)
- At least 4 years of previous experience within the sales environment or sales consultant role (required)
- Proven track record in a solution sale environment
- Excellent analytical and organizational skills
- Knowledge of Financial reports, e.g., P&L
