Job Description
Maintain all garden areas in a neat, clean, and orderly condition
Perform general maintenance and repairs in public areas, guest rooms, and offices
Carry out basic plumbing, carpentry, and electrical maintenance duties
Identify and fix safety hazards
Assemble furniture and equipment as required
Liaise with contractors and external service providers
Work closely with Front Office and Housekeeping regarding maintenance-related matters
Adhere strictly to security guidelines
Physically handle and move equipment when required
Maintain good working relationships with colleagues and all departments
Report for duty punctually, wearing the correct uniform and name tag
Maintain a high standard of personal hygiene and appearance
Comply with company policies and procedures, including Fire, Hygiene, Health & Safety regulations
Adhere to local legislation requirements
Requirements:
Grade 12
A formal qualification will be an advantage
At least 2 – 3 years’ experience
Basic maintenance experience (plumbing, carpentry, electrical)
Ability to operate gardening and maintenance tools safely
Trustworthy, honest, punctual, and reliable
Good understanding of the English language
Presentable and professional appearance
Willingness to work flexible hours, weekends, and public holidays
